Welcome to Ports Canada 2024, to be held in beautiful Port Alberni, BC, September 17 to 19. Drawing over 200 leaders from Canada’s maritime sector, Ports Canada is a unique opportunity to engage with colleagues, and hear from subject matter experts about the latest trends and technologies that will impact Canada’s ports.
See you there!
Founded in 1958, the Association of Canadian Port Authorities brings together the 17 Canada Port Authorities and related marine interests into one national association.
ACPA is the champion and advocate for Canadian ports in matters related to government policy, trade, competitiveness, and public awareness, in order to contribute to a sustainable, clean, efficient, and reliable intermodal supply chain and transportation system.
To achieve its objectives, ACPA is governed by a Board of Directors comprised of members from four regions – Pacific, Great Lakes, St. Lawrence, and Atlantic – while its day-to-day operations are carried out by a dedicated Ottawa-based team. The association also has numerous committees working on specific issues and matters on behalf of the Board and ACPA members.
Respectfully conducting our business on the Unceded Territory of the Tseshaht and Hupacasath First Nations.
