Corey Gleason

Deputy Harbour Master Port of Halifax

Corey Gleason, Commander (retired), is an accomplished naval officer and was influential in Canada's Arctic sovereignty. A member of the Order of Military Merit and Meritorious Service Cross recipient, he was the first Captain of HMCS HARRY DEWOLF, crucial for Canada's Arctic presence. His distinguished 38-year Royal Canadian Navy career, beginning in 1985, included diverse ship commands and an historic circumnavigation of North America via the Northwest Passage. Gleason remains deeply invested in maritime operations and supply chain management. He continues contributing to maritime safety and Operations as the Deputy Harbour Master & Director of the Operations Centre for the Halifax Port Authority.
