Jennifer Lutfallah joined the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) in November 2023, in the role of Vice-President of the Commercial and Trade Branch. She had recently occupied the role of Vice President, Border Measures Operations at Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC) from April 2022 to November 2023. At the PHAC, Jennifer also occupied the position of A/VP for Border Operations where she was responsible for the effective roll out and implementation of the new land and air borders testing program.

Prior to her time with PHAC, Jennifer was the Director General of the Immigration Enforcement, Customs and External Review Policy Directorate at the CBSA and has a wealth of experience in managing border-related files and issues. Before becoming a Director General at CBSA in 2016, Jennifer worked in various Government departments, domestically and internationally, including the Canadian Security and Intelligence Service; Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada; Health Canada; Treasury Board of Canada; and Human Resources and Social Development Canada.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Public Administration, as well as a Master of Public Administration from the University of Western Ontario.
